First corner mess!Heading into first corner, R. Barrichello's slow start makes this corner a mess. You can see J. Button, N. Rosberg, F. Massa, K. Raikkonen, S. Vettel and R. Kubica fighting for a spot. First corner accidents

AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX Qualifying Session

Top 3 in qualifying roundTop 3 qualifiers. Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel. Jenson Button J. Button during qualifying round. Brawn GP with pole position, not since 1970 has a new team done it!
Barrichello The fastest man of the session and 2nd in the 3rd round of qualifying. Brawn GP dominates. Vettel
Sebastian Vettel comes in 3rd in the Red Bull, after bad practice sessions!
Kubica
Robert Kubica in the BMW comes in 4th and shows how good of a driver he is. 		Rosberg Nico Rosberg in the Williams finishes 5th after dominating a few practice sessions.
Glock
Timo Glock in the Toyota is 6th. Both Toyota's made the top 10! 		Massa Felipe Massa finishes 7th as the Ferrari's struggle to keep pace with Brawn GP team.
Jenson Button | Pole Position
Jenson Button, who didn't know if he would be back in Formula 1 finishes 1st and takes pole. The Brit showed why he should remain in Formula One.		 Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen finishes 9th, a good result considering he only ran 5 laps the prior day as the Ferrari failed him during the practice session.
Trulli
Jarno Trulli in the 2nd Toyota finished 8th, ahead of Kimi's Ferrari. 		WebberMark Webber in the 2nd Red Bull rounds up the top 10 qualifiers in Melbourne, Australia

AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX Practice Session

FOTA MeetingWith the most amount of changes in Formula 1 history, the teams are more united than ever for the 2009 season. Massa, Sutil and Raikkonen Felipe Massa in the Ferrari, followed by Adrian Sutil in the Force India and Kimi Raikkonen in the other Ferrari.
Massa Felipe Massa saves the Ferrari from slamming into the wall during practice session. Trulli Jarno Trulli in the Toyota during practice, he was in 3rd place by the end of the session.
Piquet Nelson Piquet in the Reanult slides sideways during the session, he did not finish in the top 10 for the session. Hamilton Lewis Hamilton trying to control his McLaren-Mercedes.
Button Jenson Button in the Brawn GP, he finished 5th during the session and showed how great the car has been running. Rosberg Nico Rosberg in the Williams as he nears the starting line, he and his Williams ran great and managed to end the session in the number 1 spot.
Barrichello Rubens Barrichello and his Brawn GP racing down the straight, he finished 2nd in the session as the Brawn GP team seems to be the ones to beat. Vettel and Massa Felipe Massa in the Ferrari, he finished 10th, passes Sebastian Vettel, who's practice session seems over, although he managed the 8th spot.
